Eric has extensive experience working with primary schools. The Literature Works framework developed during his 20 years at Newcastle LA\u00a0 working with schools, as Primary English Manager, Senior Consultant for Primary School Improvement, North-East HUB lead for school improvement,\u00a0OfSTED Inspector and \u00a0DfE Associate Regional Adviser, (ISP), North-West.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lead Teachers<\/strong>\u00a0support on-going developments within primary language comprehension and the sharing\u00a0of good practice between schools subscribing to Literature Works. They form a very strong team of seventeen primary school leaders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Newcastle City Libraries\u00a0and Northumberland School Library Service<\/strong> are partners supporting Literature Works. They provide teacher&#8217;s with information about new and exciting \u00a0authors and texts, for use in the classroom, and share with us, at our termly meetings, their expertise and\u00a0cultural offers\u00a0 within the world of children`s books.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Northumbria University <\/strong>and Literature Works partnership has been running successfully for many years.
